Both these guys could bang and Napoles was the better boxer.
But who hit harder?
Cuevas was defintitely the harder puncher. His left hook was crippling. Napoles was a superior fighter in almost every other way, but his power benefited from his tremendous timing and accuracy. Cuevas was just plain heavy handed.
Napoles's hook was swift and potent....but Cuevas' hook is one of the single most devastating punches in boxing history. He threw it wide very often and it didn't look as pretty as many other's hooks, but it crushed things when it landed.
