NW or SE. The Smiths, Stone Roses, Joy Division, Beatles and Oasis are brilliant, but it's also hard to argue with Led Zep, The Jam, Suede and Radiohead

Don't think it's Scotland in my opinion. Simple Minds and The Beta Band are very good though

Look at the artists in the north west it's probably the greatest region in the world not just Britain.

edit: Changed my mind London & South East takes it. T.Rex, Queen, The Who, The Kinks, Rolling Stones.
