Yeah, he's been fighting out of Sydney for quite a few years now I believe. Good news for Augustus that R. Mayweather is on board. I always kind of wished that Augustus won a world title and got the proper recognition that he has so long deserved. He is one of those unfortunate fighters that judges just don't like at all for some reason. He's what boxing needs. An exciting, skilled fighter willing to entertain and fight!

He's had a strange career and is certainly on the last legs of it. Whether he still has enough left to win a title is hard to say. Hopefully he does. He's an odd fighter though. He's really very skilled and if he had the proper determination and will he could've actually become very good and easily a world champ much earlier. He has always dropped fights which he shouldn't have or fought fights in a way which lost it for him when he could have won or he has just straight up been screwed badly in many, many fights. He is definitely skilled enough to win a title still, but, whether he can now at 140 remains to be seen. I'd love it if he did though.

Man, his fight with Ward is still just absolutely incredible to watch. One of the most intense fights that has ever happened. Terrible, terrible scores.
