Quote from 2012 from Richard Schaefer
It's really a non-issue with Amir. The British Boxing Board of Control retains jurisdiction on every fight, irrespective of where it is when Amir Khan fights. So the British Boxing Board of Control has implimented for many years already random Olympic style drug testing said Schaefer.

    Quote from 2002
Jess Harding, Promoter for the Wembley show commented, The random tests conducted by the British Boxing Board of Control will only benefit the sport in the long term. No-one can condone sports cheats at any level.

"In 2010 the BBBoC carried out 70 random drug tests" re-quote from The Sun newspaper

Enzo Macca failing his drug test in 2012 is quoted as saying "'I have been tested over 20 times in my career and have never failed any random or post fight doping test, but on this occasion, due to my naivety, I have tested positive for a banned substance."

Why would he mention random testing if he was not random tested?

Pigsfly never said that VADA conducted the tests. That was Dirk Diggler making that false statement (because he took that from Hearns who misspoke or just didn't even know what he was talking about). Dirk continually tried to argue that it's VADA even after correction.

So again, this is just yet another person stating the facts -- that it is UKAD. I think Pigsfly is questioning the legitimacy of the random drug testing for professional boxing in the UK. And he does have an argument there, because there's conflicting reports about the frequency and it even being done at all for some.

No I didn't. Why lie? I said maybe VADA works with UKAD now. I don't actually know. So far it's Hearn's word against yours. There is no "correction".

The drug testing is random so some fighters may not get tested for a while but they are always under the threat of being tested because it's random and year round.

Clearly a far superior testing system to the US where fighters choose when they want to be tested or are not tested at all.
