Yes the Castillo fight was controversial but he went to the rematch and set the record straight. What did Pacquiao do after Morales beat him? He waited until Morales lost to Raheem at 135 and then fought him at 130 and ducked Raheem. Which was a ***** move, Mayweather didnt wait for Castillo to lose. He gave him an immediate rematch.

lol @ Floyd "Put them in front of me and I will beat them" GTFOH with that bull****. Floyd will go down as the biggest ducker in the history of boxing. Please don't delude yourself

This great fighter still has no prime HOFers on his resume. Sorry bud.

Hopkins and RJJ are the DLH and Mosley of Mayweather's resume. Take those 2 away. Mayweather does not have a single HOFer on his resume that he fought in their weight class.

      Boom.

      Exposed.

But Floyd is a Black American. That lends him credibility he wouldn't have other wise. His blind bat fans(mostly American) will hold up his skills and even though he's not a dynamic fighter.... he does not have any KO power.... his fights have no replay value.
hate to say this but your right......except hatton stands out

Dude if you discount jk1700's last post then its clear you do not know enough about boxing to have this discussion.

          Jose Luis Castillo
          Diego Corrales

And he fought all of them at their best weight classes, He didnt make them fight at catchweights. All of these fighters were also coming off career defining wins, Not devastating losses like most of Pacquiao's opponents.

He's 1-1 with Castillo. Even at that Castillo is not a lock.

Corrales is not in the HOF. He won't be. He's just a good fighter but not great.

He was Genaro Hernandez's last fight. LOL @ him being prime.

          Keep them coming....

The difference is Floyd Mayweather's resume is by FAR alot better than Calzaghes resume.

            Floyd Mayweather has beaten:

            Shane Mosley
            Oscar De La Hoya
            Ricky Hatton
            Juan Manuel Marquez
            Diego Corrales
            Arturo Gatti
            Jose Luis Castillo
            Zab Judah

            Calzaghe has beaten:

            Mikkel Kessler
            Jeff Lacy
            Chris Eubank
            Bernard Hopkins
Roy Jones Jr(who was 40 years old and totally shot)

Lol it's not even close. Floyd Mayweather>>>>>>>>>>Joe Calslappy

The only people who actually think Calzaghe was a great fighter are the Brits. Calzaghe is a NOBODY in the U.S.

He made Hatton come up in weight. Would he have beaten Hatton at 140? He would be KOed by dehydration.

              Same with JMM.

Pac fought both of them in their weight class.

Hatton isn't a HOF lock either.

                Play on words?

                  Eubank - Past Prime
                  Roy Jones - Past Prime
                  Hopkins - Past Prime

Kessler and Lacy were both prime.

Lacy was exposed as a C level fighter.

                  Kessler is his best win.

                      LOL @ Gatti

                      LOL @ Judah

Just because they are known American fighters don't make them actual great fighters. Come back to reality son. 1 guy is an overhyped slugger known for his wars with Mickey Ward and the other dude is just an overhyped never was.

He made Ricky come up in weight. Ricky is not a HOF lock.

He made JMM come up 2 weight classes and he still didn't make weight. On top of JMM being shot already. What would happen if he fought JMM at 135 like Pac did? FMM would be coming out on a stretcher.

DLH and Mosley I already addressed. Mosley is 40 as well. Oscar was already shot to pieces. He went life and death with Steve Forbes.

The only thing the Mosley fight proved to me was if Shane had been in his prime, he would've finished Floyd in the 2nd.

DLH would've decisioned floyd. Even a shell of his former self took him to a split decision.
