According to well-known French newspaper “Le Parisien”, WBO #4 ranked middleweight Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam (26-0, 17 KOs), the former WBA interim titleholder originally from Cameroon, will likely stage a fight on April 20 in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, against WBO #1 ranked Ukrainian Maks Bursak (24-0-1, 10 KOs), 27, for the WBO interim 160lb belt.

sounds like a build up for Hassan/Pirog. If Hassan wins impressively, a fight with Pirog better be on American TV. That's a really good fight.

Who's Pirog supposed to fight? I thought those were his two options.

Why not just postpone the fight until late May when he is supposed to fight?

pirog was supossedly fighting bursak in late may, or so his team claimed. but now the two ppl he was supposed to be fighting decided to fight each other, guess they got tired of waiting. honestly, pirog doesnt seem interested in fighting rite now. dunno wats going on with him and his team but there seems to be a serious lack of motivation. and they would have u believe its the other fighters who dont wanna fight him, but sooner or later ppl have to start questioning that.

Remember that N'jikam held the WBA Interm belt for close to 2 years, backed out of 4 or 5 fights with Golovkin the WBA Regular titlist and when he was finally made to fight Gennady he dropped the Interm title rather than unify. Now he has wormed his way into another Interm belt. Don't hold your breath for N'jikam to fight Pirog.

Jeez, don't start acting like N'Jikam is ducking Pirog now. N'Jikam dropped the stupid fake interim little to get a shot at the real WBO belt instead of fighting for the other fake belt Golovkin has. Fact is Pirog is the one who dropped out, not N'Jikam. The world doesn't revolve around Pirog. N'Jikam had to move on and probably got a better financial deal out of Bursak. N'Jikam can fight Pirog any other time.
