For mean, you have to findd the average so you add all the numbers then you divide by the total of numbers that you had.

      Mean: Let's say you have 6 numbers, so: 2 + 5 + 3 + 2 + 5 + 1 = 18. So now you divide 18 by 6 which is 3. So the mean of the numbers above is 3.

Median is the middle value, so:

      1,3,5,6,7,8,9

The median is 6 since it's the middle value. Note: You have to put the numbers in order to get the median.

      Mode you know.
thanks but what about the range?

also, what about if there were a even amount of numbers in the median question?

Add all of the data together and divide by the number of data ('n"0

"Mean" just refers to "the average".

            Range:

Remember how you sorted the data for the median? using that same sort, just provide the lowest and highest data points.

            Median, Mean, and range.
            that is not complete

well, i have recently been studying tips that actually can make u into a math genius. its cool ****.

i can square root large numbers in seconds mentally, and things like that.

rather than memorizations, i have found it best to learn and figure out tricks that save time.

i have an upcoming math exam, so i am all into this although i hate math.

                abacus?

ever see those kids that memorize the motions of a abacus and can multiply huge numbers in seconds by creating an air abacus in their mind and just move their fingers as if they were beads.

range is equal to the highest minus lowest data point.

median: if theres an even amount of numbers you get the two middle and divide by 2.

                    4 5 10 13 15 99

                    mean = 23/2 = 11.5

                    range would be 99 - 4 = 95

would be no mode (all occur once)

                    mean (average) is total/no, 131/6 = 21.83
