It's unfortunate for Wlad that there's no one he can fight to prove once and for all how good he is. His competition is his competition, and that competition is no where near good enough to give Wlad any claim to being better than most the best heavyweights ever.

The bold is just dumb and complete BS. Americans hate on Americans it has nothing to do with jealously. It has to do with people seeing the bums the Klits fight for who they are. The Klits fight in the absolute worse HW era known to date. So you can't sit here and try to convince people of how great they are when it is known they are fighting bums. Its not the Klits fault but its just the way it is. Just like people say we will never know how good certain fighters are cause they won't challenge themselves. We will never know how good or possibly the great the Klits are because of the terrible competition they face. That has nothing at all to do with jealously.

Personally they are far from bums but I don't think they are great either.

I agree. Tyson lost, Ali lost, every ATG lost (almost)...... Wlad lost, and what did he do? Got BETTER and dominated the sport for 8 years. Nobody talks about Tyson's opponents, or Lewis's, yet everyone claims Wlads opponents are all bums, why? Because HE'S THAT GOOD. His opponents aren't that BAD, he is just that damn GOOD. He makes anyone look bad at this point in his career.


Mormeck was a bum, but who in the hell else was he supposed to fight? Don't crucify the man for staying active, no one wanted it.. And Thompson was a mandatory, "Yeah I'll just drop my championship belt because boxingscene and the general public think Thompson is a bum" Sorry fellas, not happening. Blame the sanctioning body, not Wlad. With that being said, there is a LOT of really good prospects coming up in the HW division now, and once Wlad beats them, of course haters will call them bums..............But true, unbiased boxing fans will know that Pulev, Fury, Price, Boystov, etc... Will be excellent names, on an already great resume.

If anyone on this thread could get by comparing opponents and just look at his style, talent, knowledge and willingness you'll see a fighter who is NOT great at anything he does! He deserves credit for performing at HIS highest level but he's NOT a high level performer!! He is terribly awkward and off balanced once he punches and its most obvious when he misses. He actually steps over with his right foot when throwing a right hand many times!!
I give credit for his accomplishments but can't put him in the catagory of a great heavyweight, its absolutely ridiculous! Ray

What the Klitschko brothers have done has never been done before in any weight division in boxing. By the way, do yourself a favor and watch HBO's documentary "Klitschko"; mad respect!

Wladimir will be inducted into Canastota, NY and will be remembered as one of the most dominating heavyweights of his time. He will be a GOAT when all is said and done.
