This is the hottest division right now. I wish Maidana would stick around but I think hes staying at 147.

I don't think he can make 140 anymore.

I wasnt sure how effective he'd be at 147 but the soto karass fight showed hes still got some strength and decent ability.

The thing is people make a lot of moving up in weight but actually it's the style. Maidana looked terrible against Alexander, but that was because of Alexander. Then he looked the same as he does at 140 against Karras at 147.

I just watched Allakhverdiev vs Mabuza since Allakhverdiev is fighting Guzman next month for a made up title.

He looks to have good overall fundamentals decent handspeed ok power, easy to hit kind of if Mabuza could find him.....the stoppage was impressive but he shouldn't have been out of his corner right behind the ref after the 1st KD while the ref was giving Mabuza the count.

I got Guzman by UD based on what I saw, he is too fast, awkward, and in the 1st fight with Funeka held up pretty well while Funeka hit him with the kitchen sink so I think he should be able to handle what Allakhverdiev can dishout when he is able to land.

I know, he is a world class talent too bad about the time he has wasted. Imagine how different his career may have gone if he just made weight for the Campbell fight a few years ago.
