  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: Next Time McCloskey Destroys "Fraud" Khan

Promoter Barry Hearn is still bitter with Paul McCloskey's technical decision loss to WBA/IBF junior welterweight champion Amir Khan. Khan won a six round decision over McCloskey in April. The fight was stopped early due to a cut suffered by McCloskey from an accidental clash of heads.

I bet Khan is laughing reading that. Im not a fan of either guy but it was clear that Khan had an off night vs Paul and still won every minute of every round before the headbutt.

Lhan had a off night because he was trying to knock him out, McCloskey didn't allow him the chance to do that because he didn't fight.
If McCloskey puts himself in a mandatory position, I can't see Khan going for the knockout, he will probably school him for 12 rounds and go home.
Khan is leagues ahead McCloskey, the only people in the whole world who think McCloskey can beat him are Hearn, McCloskey and maybe McCloskey's mum.

McCloskey just isnt quite there..he showed he can throw variety with his punches against Prescott but he doesnt do it enough, hes to much of a hea hunter at times. That and he puts way to much energy into dodging punches that could be blocked with his gloves.

So McKloskey robs Prescott and Khan is the fraud?

The reality of the last fight is that for 5 rounds McKloskey did nothing but avoid punches, and to his credit did that fairly well. However as soon as he started to open up, Khan was nailing him. There was only going to be one winner in that fight, and it wasn't McKloskey.

Let Maidana destroy him and end his 15 minutes of fame.

leave it alone, damnit boy! McCloskey ain't gonna beat Khan! Never will happen! Paul can have a good career if he just keeps on doing his own thing @ 140, and forgets about trying to fight khan again - he's (khan) going up to 147 anyway. . . Just keep matching up Paul properly, and he'll have a good career - he's a good little boxer with his own style that I personally like. . . BUT STOP MENTIONING KHAN! THE KING IS THE KING!

Im not a fan of Khan but McKloskey is complete s**t. He was outboxed by Prescott and got a gift.

Strange how Khan couldn't land a glove on him though.

LOL this must be one of those massive Khan haters you see on here..

Whatever you think about Khan.. wether he talks to much or got a suspect chin..

But the guy is certainly no fraud.. and has had a good run of fights barring Mckloskey since the Kotelnik fight..
