I didn't exactly mean that; I was more talking about how most, if not all, mainstream television programmes in America subtly promote a liberal agenda. It's just as indoctrinating as Fox News -- maybe more so seeing as how it insidiously appeals to the subconscious, rather than just putting a view out there to be accepted or rejected.

That's the point -- they are both mobs. Politics these days are no longer about idealism or progression, it's about two teams vying against each other for power. Their campaigns are carefully designed to reinforce, and subsequently exploit, your fears and apprehensions.
