One day it will. The NBA is weaker now than it was in the 80's.

naw,we are focused on winning a title not a winning streak.the streak got us the best record in the league and home court advantage through the playoffs so it accomplished it's goal

With key players from Boston, NY, Chicago, and Indiana out due to injuries, the conditions were perfect for Miami to make that run

Don't know if that kinda thing will happen again.

The 33 is up there with Bulls' 72 and Wilt's 100 as far as tougest records to break.

well that 33 game streak was made when the league had 17 teams, and the 100 points were against people 6 feet tall

True, but that doesn't make the heat any less impressive or less strong of contender for the 2013 championship.

The heat deserve their respect for playing outstanding basketball.

Edit: Lebron needs to control his temper though. Commiting a flagrant when time was so crucial couldn't have been a worse decision.

True, because if it was that easy why is no other team on a 27 game streak

they beat Thunder, Grizzlies, Clippers, Lakers and Rockets during this streak.

The streak wasn't exactly a cake walk.

Look at Lakers 33 game win streak schedule. They played against 4 expansion teams in their 2nd season multiple times during the streak. The Lakers 33 game win streak was far easier than the Heat's 27.
