yes, but he's been awfully inactive. some of that has been his fault, some has come from the pavlik fiasco and injury. if they want to make him the "champion emeritus" i'm fine with that. if they want to strip himi for inactivity after reviewing the chronology i'm fine with that as well.
it's a damn shame that one of the planet's very best boxers isn't fighting.
at this stage, i'd suggest ward take a fight with froch in the UK. they might not give you the bulk of hte cash, but it's a good payday, and you whipped the dudes ass in the first fight. there's no way in hell he beats you, even with crazy UK judging.
