D'Angelo Russell the last 2 months has been looking better than Porzingis has.

I can't wait to see how he looks with a full year without a ball dominant guy like old Kobe on the floor 30 minutes a night. His chemistry with Clarkson and Randle is only going to improve, as will having someone hopefully like Simmons/Ingram, and a competent pick and roll big.

Not saying he's the savior or anything. But he's looked good the last couple months and really has gotten better every month this year, while Porzingis who started off red hot, has cooled heavily the last month or two. Towns is still the best rookie right now. But I'm getting more comfortable with the fact we took Russell over Okafor
