Wilder is way better off fighting Arreola or Stiverne first. After that he should still fight some other top 10 heavyweight. Let Vitali do his thing and retire since he really doesn't have anything left to prove. Fight Wlad a year or two down the line. Fighting Wlad now will have Wilder getting KO'd. You don't go from fighting guys with no pulse to fighting one of the most dominant heavyweights of the past 10 years.

nobody knows whether or not wilder has balls. he was never in the ring with a live opponent, so we do not know how he would act when he is under pressure - he may crumble.

and his chin has never been tested - again, because he only fought D and C level opposition. we will only know how good his chin is when someone like fury when someone half-decent lands.

at this point, he may very well be the US version of price (actually, price had fought slightly better opposition than wilder even before the thompson fight).

If Vitali stays, what better fight to see? Do you want to see [Bermane] Stiverne vs. a Klitschko, or Deontay Wilder vs. a Klitschko? And I’d probably get 100 percent, all votes, of Wilder and a Klitschko.

I'd rather see Stiverne vs a Klitschko because Stiverne proved himself against decent opposition.
