Is Matthyse a more polished version of Maidana?

Matthysse has the edge in a lot of areas, he's probably better at most things come to think of it. But unlike Lucas, Maidana doesn't fuck around and goes to work. He's better at taking the initiative, and he's relentless when he's got a foothold in the fight. Matthysse is too to be fair, but he's a far more tentative fighter and doesn't force the pace of the fight in the same way.

I think the fact that Maidana's a bit faster might be a factor in their stylistic differences too. It gives him more confidence to step in and lead.

It would be an awesome clash if they met. Maidana to do better early on, Lucas to get on top going down the stretch.
