Loma isn't really exciting. He's a great boxer and one of the most technically sound. But if Loma was black his style would be called "slick" and/or "boring" but instead they call him a "technician"

Walters was right to reject it. He is the action fighter between the two. Donaire was a bigger name than Russell Jr. was, and Lomachenko got mugged by old warhorse Salido, who Walters would have destroyed. No way in hell Lomachenko should have gotten 750 K to fight a bum when Walters didn't get a third of that to crush Donaire. Lomachenko fights in a similar styles as Rigondeaux, except with less power. Yet he gets paid the big bucks. It's all backfiring on Arum now, he will lose all these guys to Haymon or other promoters if he doesn't stop with the playing favorites.

Those guys you mentioned were already stars with big followings and put up big ratings. Loma isn't a star in the US that can put up big ratings or sell out arenas. His star power is probably about even with Walters. The purse should have been 50-50 from the start.
