Football matches are a catalyst for violence as well but we don't suggest they take place for anything other than sporting contest.

I have little interest in the marches because I find all religion a farce but it is inaccurate to say that they are intended to cause trouble, certainly not by the organisers who are embarrassed more than anyone by the moronic element which attach themselves to these parades.
