IMO Froch is tailor made for him. Slow feet is what The Executioner eats.

If he can safely make weight, then go for it!

I see him taking the titles easily.

    Or he could retire?

The Froch fight isn't happening. If you guys want to see snoozer in the ring, badger him to fight Ward

He should fight Ward. It maybe be boring but as a boxing fan its an interesting fight IMO.

I'd love to see Hopkins beat Froch at SMW.

An older Hopkins, and past prime Kessler having beaten him would make it even clearer he's faced top competition and done well, but is still below Calzaghe.

If Nard managed to get to 168 or 170ish the odd's would be even, and what the hell does that say for Froch? It'd for all senses and purposes, put him as the #3 SMW.

I think he could make 168 and fight well because he made 160 when he was forty but it's his call and he won't go to 168. After all the great things he has done at his age he can pretty much do what ever he wants. There are lots of fights for him at 170-175 but I wish he would retire. The way he fights now is effective but terrible to watch in my opinion. His fights are sort of dirty, wrestling, chess matches with him throwing about 25 punches or less per round.

maybe Hopkins can pull a Cherrypicker and have Froch's 168 lbs belt on the line, too

Hopkins isn't making SMW now, it's too late for that
if he could, it might still be late for him to beat Froch
at his best, Hopkins would dust Froch if they were both at SMW
now? Froch could get a Taylor/Calzaghe-esque workrate based UD
he wouldn't land anything serious, but volume alone could steal it

I'm pretty sure he has mentioned before that he had no interest in getting a title at 168. He believes in the old weight classes so his reigns at 160 and 175 are more important to him than the "in-between" weight classes.
