Man I don't know how on Earth there was so much hype behind that nasty skank. I guess there is a lot of trash out there and BS feminist culture

Boxing is in its shadow these days, that's for sure. We're living off scraps lately.

Their brand is now far stronger than boxing I think, and they're getting all the shine.

Can any American lads speak about the relative hype surrounding each sport on average in the USA?
The ufc is much more mainstream.. They are constantly on foxsports channels, and major fights get all sort of publicity and interviews.
Ufc is a machine, much like the NFL, NBA, etc

Boxing has become more of a gimmick and doesn't have the structure to become mainstream again.. Star power is pretty non existant with the current structure of the sport.

Conor mccgregor is going to have his 4th straight fight 1 million+ PPv buys and all within a year. 2 were against last minute replacements, and still did 1 mil..
Canelo-cotto didn't even crack a million and that's the biggest fight in boxing of the past year.

The reason for the big difference is that ufc is well run and well marketed, and builds off momentum, where boxing is not well run or well marketed, and usually always seems to find a way to ruin or stop momentum..

I haven't seen him anywhere but ESPN. Boxers are all over the place when there's a big fight also, its no big deal.

White people sick of they under-representation in real sports like boxing so they make a new sport they can identify with, pretty sad
