[HOLY S**T!] I've grown to appreciate the Beach Boys as of late

After watching The Beach Boys biopic on HDnet, and then listening to some of their records for the first time since, I was a kid, I have to say they are a great band, very revolutionary, and Brian Wilson is something of a musical genius.

I used to think they were just a group of **** who sing like girls, but some of their work especially on Pet Sounds is impeccable and genius.

And after watching the biopic and learning about their rise to fame, and Brian's drug abuse, it really opened my eyes.

They are arguably better than the Beatles, IMO, but alas, I think the Beatles are probably the most overrated band of all time.

i love the beach boys, man. they're so under appreciated. everyone always compares them to the beatles, but that's not a fight they can win. its brian VS john paul george and ringo.
