That objectivity is a very hard thing to maintain. Consumer Digest seems to do it! But whenever anyone with skin in the game gets into the mix, somehow just magically things seem to tilt a bit. It is a shame

I think Boxingscene's Cliff Rold left the ratings comitee for just about the same reasons as the above scribe.

TBR is made up of boxing writers. They rank the fighters in each division.

I think it would have to show tremendous naivety to think that the ring rankings were not in the past influenced by the leading promoters. Christ the original ring rankings were produced by the leading promoter of the day.
