Floyd has no choice to be active. If he wants to keep his distance and minimize risk, he will have to move around the ring alot, and if he wants to exchange, he will have to throw meaningful combinations . You know he will be sharp defensively, Maidana brings constant pressure throughout the whole fight, he's the closest style to Margarito Floyd will have faced, in that he brings relentless pressure, is a volume puncher with power, and has a chin.

I think a lot of people forget that Devon Alexander is a slick southpaw, something that Floyd is not. Floyd will choose Amir Khan. Maidana is a legitimate threat to land a lucky punch and KO Floyd, Amir, not so much. Amir will show up to box and there is no way he wins a decision against Floyd. He just doesn't have the mental fortitude to hold it together for 12 rounds.

Doubtful. Floyd is a master at ring generalship. The only person that really forced him to do what he didn't want was Cotto. Cotto is a far superior fighter than Maidana.
