I think it's because he's got all the random WBO affiliate titles and has defended them a few times.
The rankings are actually quite ridiculous across the board.
Parker and Joshua ranked in the top 10 of any organization is ridiculous.
If they beat someone in the top 10 then that's when they deserve a ranking.
Beating an old Kali Meehan and an unknown Dillian Whyte who was getting hit far too easily by Brian Minto doesn't deserve a ranking in the top 20 nevermind the top 10 or 5.
    That's boxing for ya tho!!

Not a chance.Parker will simply out punch Joshua.
His superior speed will win the day.
This boy can put out 100 punches a round.
These punches are quick as lightning.

He has superior stamina and punch out put.

What will happen when Parker lands his big right on Joshua chin????

Speed Kills!!! There is fast. Then there is last.

Walk through it like Jason Bergman did for 8 rounds, then land a massive right hand on parkers chin, sending him quiverring and convulsing on the canvas

          The facts

I hate the way Joshua makes out he is the second coming
of Lennox Lewis. He has beaten one British level guy and now
          he is God???
He owes his exalted position to marketing skills of Hearn.
The British boxing fans have made this guy.
This guy had only 15 fights. What hype job.

What? When has that ever happened.

It's the typical new zealander inferiority complex, i've seen the articles on stuff.co.nz saying that joshua is "running scared" of parker and all the other nonsense.

Joshua had a better ametuer career, (second world champs, first olympics, though undeserved but is what it is) and has fought some better opponents than parker, and he gets more coverage because he's from a bigger country

the only ones obsessed with comparing are the insecure kiwis who don't like that their guy doesn't get as much attention "hey, look over here, look at our guy, world.... please"

You even saw when parker did his call out video he was all wired and bitter, joshuas response he was chilled and didn't even care, parker is bitter because his ego doesn't like that he's second fiddle, look at his body language in that video he looks like hes about to cry.

To criticize joshuas opposition which is mildly better than parkers, as a parker fan is sheer stupidity, critique his style if you want but you have no grounds to criticise his opposition.

            it's sad

              That was Parker's worst performance.
But you are typical critic who goes on about his worst performance.
He did his elbow in the second round.
But you did not notice the body punches that Parker put out.

Parker is not just head hunter.

You don't seem to notice Joshua many failings for some reason.

                Oh i notice joshuas failings.

lax defensively, neglects his jab, he's too stiff, stamina is questionable.

Fact is when these two fights both guys are going to come forward and be there to be hit, and joshua hits FAR harder than parker, and in a shoot out situation joshua will win

Parker could conceivably outbox joshua if he fought on the back foot, moved a lot, avoided engaging and relied on the jab, he could even take joshua out late if he does that for 8-10 rounds then comes in for the finish if joshua is badly gassed

but parker won't fight like that, his ego will get the better of him and he'll come forward looking to prove something and walk straight into joshuas ridiculous power.

He not second fiddle to any heavyweight.
Parker is nice and humble guy.
He doing what his promoters tell him.
Joshua has a bigger profile than Parker.
But Parker has the talent to beat this guy.

I did not sense any fear in Parker's voice.
If any one can.A kiwi can!!!
The whole of New Zealand and the pacific is behind Parker.

We will back our boy all the way to the title.

Parker is smart guy. Most of the time he sticks to the game plan.
He would not make same mistakes that Whyte made.
