Crazy atmosphere. Made tito vs Joppy look tame.

It had a Manchester United feel too it, Hatton's fans were beating drums, and chanting like hooligans.

both these guys were in my top 5 favorite fighters and had hell of swag

Manny and ODLH were the big money fight for the cash cows

Mayweather Hatton...the build up, personalities of fighters, was awesome being around when it was going on

I just remember how hard it was to get a damn beer that weekend. Those Brits drank the MGM dry. It was faster to go to New York New York, get a beer there and walk back to the MGM.

Fun fight but Hatton/Pacquiao had very similar atmosphere and Hatton/Kostya probably had THE best atmosphere of any fight this century, with Froch/Bute and Lewis/Tyson coming close. I could probably put Froch/Groves 1 in there too, as the crowd didn't stop roaring after that KD, no one expected that and all of a sudden, Groves became a hero.

Also, lets not forget Pacquiao/Morales 1 and Khan/Maidana.

Tyson Holyfield II was the only fight that compares IMO for atmosphere. Really was an amazing buildup and a darned good fight.

British know how to electrify Hatton vs Mayweather,
Prince Naseem Hamed Vs Kevin Kelly, Frank Bruno vs Mike Tyson in their first fight ...........Probably the top three fights in terms of atmosphere involving British fighters in America.

Why do you talk so much sht when its been explained a million times .

Hatton wanted to go up to 147 so he didnt risk his 140 title , the fight night weights were 153 Hatton 152 Floyd a far cry from the 159 Hatton was against Collazo where he said he would never fight at that weight again and he didnt , 153 Hatton is his best fight weight and the same weight Hatton was when he beat KT and all his other 140 opponets .

You people talk about boxing but are so into the hype and BS you cant see the truth behind fights , for fck sake Hatton was bigger than Floyd by a pound , Hattons trainer said he couldnt not believe how small Floyd was when he seen him in life he had no problems with a weigh-in off 147 because what was real is you had 2 JWWs fighting for WW title , all they did was not dry out to make 140 their fight night weight was the same as it would have been if they weighed in at 140 .

                      Hatton
                      height 5′ 7½″ / 171cm
                      reach 65″ / 165cm

                      Floyd
                      height 5′ 8″ / 173cm
                      reach 72″ / 183cm

Floyd fighting smaller guys as usual, you don't fool us.
