Couldn't even make weight against Marquez, he was lacking some "hardwork & Dedication" for that camp.

Because when your liked you get the benefit of the doubt...when your hated your wrong even when your right
I respect what both fighters do in the Ring...I try not to pick sides but I think Both Sides are FULL OF **** and both sides are preventing this fight from Happening, first it was Pacquiao walking away form the fight because of the Drug Test, now it seems like it is Mayweather Stalling but I also think it is Arum would rather keep making money off of Pacquiao without having to deal with Mayweather and Haymon because Arum knows Pacquiao fans will support him no matter who he fights, he can keep feeding them Recycled fights and they will still buy tickets and PPV'sLast edited by sicko; 11-03-2012, 08:36 PM.

Because people want him(Floyd) to lose and its really that simple. Even though Floyd is a small WW(he can't even make 154 and he barely goes above 150) he is willing to fight there. Fighters in the past used to do this all the time though so its nothing new.

The thread was asking why he's being slated for not fighting top 154 and 160 competition while Pac is given a pass, and the answer is simple, its because Floyd is bigger than Pac. He is taller, has longer reach, and a bigger frame. When Pac was 'super hydrated' (Arizas words) for his last fight he still only came in at 147, and he has to constantly eat ridiculous amounts throughout training camp to stay in the welterweight division.

As far as your second paragraph, I have to disagree. I don't think the size difference, outside of reach, is that great. Mayweather had to drink water prior to weighing in at '51 for Cotto. Again, I've yet to see an official fight night weight where he was more than 150. Meanwhile, pacquiao is throwing 1,000+ punches at 150 against Margs, so what's wrong with a Cotto, Martinez, Canelo, at '54?

He fought a faded DLH and a Cotto that doesn't show the devastating power he had at '40 or '47. Mosley had the skills to compete at '54, but that doesn't mean it was where he should've fought, i.e. Sergio Mora.

Pac's team have always said that 150 was the limit, and as i stated earlier it was careful matchmaking that allowed him go that high. Margarito was basically a punching bag for Pac, the best style match up that pac could hope for, and he was still hurt at points. He fights any natural 154 fighter and he probably loses, not because they are better than him p4p but because they would be massive compared to him. Also before you mention that Pac won a title there aswell, we all know it was bull title, he knows it, his team knows it, only the biggest fanboy would recognize it as a legit championship...
Also fair play on the size thing, i thought floyd was 5'10 not 5'8, he is still taller though and his reach means he doesnt have as much distance to make up as Pac does.
For the record i think Floyd is an incredible fighter as is Paquiao.
