Depending on how and why the relationship ended there may be too many harsh feelings. Also, it's very possible to pick up where you left off and go back to old habits that caused you to split up in the first place. Why would you want to be with someone who brought out the worst in you at some point?

Sometimes, it's just better to move on and let go of these things.

People can change, but those things well always be apart of who they are. When we get older some of us learn to control ourselves better, but it's amazing how quickly you can revert to old, bad habits when you are in the company of someone who knows how to push your buttons.

Exs are exs for a reason. Some things are worth working through, but if the relationship caused you to be an angry person, or brought out the worst in you, it isn't worth going back to.

Find someone who can add to your happiness, not make you miserable.
