I grew up with no religion in my household. Was taught how to conduct myself, taught discipline and how to treat others by my parents where no religion was involved. I know religious people who treat people like **** and conduct themselves horribly, It doesn't matter if your religious or not, morality is common sense and if taught right in the household everything will be good. Even though I don't believe in god doesn't mean I live for myself. I live for the ones I care about. What else would I live for? So I can make sure I make god happy and go to heaven. Anyways I don't think it would be that great to live or my soul to live for eternity.

If I was an atheist I'd probably opt. for the live fast die young life style. It has it's up and downs, you are happy for a few hours then you hit extreme depression, rinse repeat until you die at the age of 40.

I can't see why an atheist person would have morals, there would be no point other than to live for yourself, you just die in the end might as well make the best of it for yourself as opposed to someone else.

You do just have one life and will die in the end whether you believe in god or not. So its up to you how you live your life.
