But that doesnt matter, really. EC votes mean unless you live in a swing state, your vote is basically wasted if you go against the tide. Ie California is solidly democrat, so voting GOP there is a waste of your time.

A handful of states decide each election with most EC votes functionally distributed before a campaign begins.
