70,000+ Barrels of Oil spewing into the Gulf of Mexico per day

Don't worry, there ain't **** there.

I watched a Discovery Channel show(I think is was DC) a ways back that said something about the ecosystem in the gulf of mexico was shot to ****. Big areas of abandoned water or at least thats what they showed. It also included some **** about a influx in giant jellyfish on the show.

Look up the "Gulf Stream system\Current" which flows from the Gulf of Mexico up to Louisiana, around and through the lower tip of Florida and up to Georgia.

That oil slick is presently getting caught in that current ... So, the Gulf of Mexico is just the beginning of the impact.

The loss of life was tragic, but the spill is a disaster and will affect the Gulf waters for years to come.
