people still bitching about that Bute KD? FFS the ref did everything exactly to the letter of the law.

Bute was up on 3 seconds by the TV clock, the ref finished the 8 count having been told by the timekeeper that time was up and checked to see if Bute was capable of continueing which since the fight was over the criteria is able to move towards the ref, which he duely did.

Fight over.

The ONLY controversy is over warning Andrade and face it he was a godd 3-4 feet away from where he should have been and argued when told to move back, even if that hadn't happened Bute would STILL have made the count.

I'm wondering how he even has a job (not to mention another world title fight) after his handling of Bute-Andrade. He looked very inexperienced.

He's the only IBF sanctioned ref in Canada unfortunately....I thought refs knew how to count.......correctly?
