"Sony Pictures and Eon Productions have today announced that the next outing in the James Bond series, previously known as ‘Bond 23,’ will be titled ‘Skyfall’ – confirming rumours that had been circulating the web over the last few weeks. Directed by Sam Mendes, the film will see Daniel Craig and Judi Dench continue their roles. The cast also includes Naomie Harris as a field agent named Eve, Javier Bardem as the lead villain, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, French actress Bérénice Marlohe as “a glamous enigmatic character,” and Ralph Fiennes, who’s role has been described as “darkly complex.”
The UK release date for the 23rd James Bond film has been pencilled in for October 26th 2012, while the film will open in the US November 9th 2012. This latest chapter is being shot at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, Scotland, Whitehall in London, Shanghai and Istanbul. Filming on the movie is set to commence today in Whitehall."
