    Rocky Fielding made a successful first defence of his English super-middleweight title by blasting his way to a sixth-round stoppage against Wayne Reed.

    The Liverpool fighter floored his opponent three times during the course of the bout and had him in trouble on a number of other occasions.

    Cheered on by a home crowd at the Echo Arena, Fielding stormed forward early on and had his opponent hurt on the ropes in the first round, but Reed survived the bombs and saw it out to the bell.

    Reed was hurt badly again in the fourth round, this time dropping to the canvas for an eight-count, but he once again showed his powers of recovery to stay in the fight.

    But the end finally came in the sixth when Reed was knocked down on two separate occasions by a left uppercut and a hard left to the body, prompting referee Marcus McDonnell to wave the fight off. [Click Here To Read More]

    He could do with a few fights abroad. The experiance & exposure would do him no halm what so ever.
