I think Lou Dibella was in charge of HBO Boxing when Roy was pimping HBO and had that "contract from hell", maybe he's taking pleasure in watching Roy lose and likes taking shots at him.

Calzaghe is a very good fighter. I still don't think he beats a prime Roy though.

Joe has Italian heritage; that's all that matters in most American thinking. That's why people are called "Italian-American" instead of just "American."

That's the point the poster was trying to make. Lou just sees Joe as Italian; one of his own, so he is bias. Plus, Lou probably hates Roy anyway.
