dudes...u guys go from one extreme to another.
That means that a little man from this 3rd world country, which is NOT USED TO HAVING ANY SPORTS STARS, has someone who can they claim as their own very proudly, is competing on a WORLDWIDE LEVEL talentwise and popularity wise against someone who IN HIS OWN COUNTRY, the majority of people would be ashamed to claim as their own. Extreme...yes...my opinion...yes....true? I'll let the public decide.....

Beating 1 lineal champion is different from beating 5 lineal champions in a row. Or do you still find a way to read between the lines?

Yea Roy was never the lineal champ he was the Ring LHW champ. But, Roy did beat the best fighter at 168 in James Toney. Toney was not the lineal champ, Frank Liles was at the time. But, Toney was the better fighter.

And, when he cameback down from HW to LHW. He beat Tarver, he was not the lineal champ. Julio Gonzalez was at the time who Roy had already beat. But, Tarver was better than Gonzalez.

dude, ur logic is just wrong. ur comparing a country, the u.s., that has numerous sport stars and has a history of being one of the top sports contries in the world to a country that is not at all used to having a major sports star. its a faulty analogy. if u r wrong, you are wrong. its like comparing apples to oranges.

Nunn lost to Steve Little in Feb of 1994. Little lost it to Liles in Aug of 1994. Liles held the title until 1999.

Roy fought Toney in Nov of 1994. So Liles had the title at the time
