  • 73 wins is a bigger accomplishment than winning a title

Everyone all of a sudden is ****ting on the Warriors because they are down 3-1 to the Thunder and saying they wore themselves out trying to accomplish the "less important" 73 regular season wins.

73 wins is a much bigger accomplishment than winning 1 title. All you have to do is look at how rare of a feat it is. 65 teams have won the nba title, but only 1 team was ever able to win 73. In fact, every single year till forever there will be an NBA champ. But there might not be another team to ever win 73 or even 70.

And not only that, the Warriors did this the year after winning the title. Everyone knows that once you win a title, the next season all 82 games every team wants to beat the champs because that's like a mini title victory to them. Which makes the 73 wins all the more impressive. When Bulls won their 72, believe it or not, it was completely under the radar until about the 60th game. Nobody expected them to be that good even though they had Jordan and Pippen. They were only considered amongst the contenders but nobody picked the bulls to even win a title that year. So even if the Bulls won 74 that year, I would still consider the Warriors 73 wins as a bigger accomplishment.

IMO 73 wins is a much greater accomplishment then winning a single title.

By that logic, Wilt Chamberlains 100 points in a game trumps all.

yes, a 100 point game is a greater accomplishment than winning the scoring title.

I'm torn between wanting to red k OP for using idiotic logic to support his argument, and wanting to green k OP for the sweet Razor Ramon gif.
