You really think Snoop is gonna pay attention to who this dude is when he selling CDs out of swap meets when Snoops **** is global?
These dudes just tried to capitalize on the song and "tried" to beef with Snoop to sell records, Snoop won't give him recognition cus they don't even deserved to be mentioned so they ended up looking dumb.
That Snoop song was never a diss song.
You are correct from one point of view.

But on the Chicano Rap scene(it isn't that big to begin with but enough for rapper to make a living) Chino Grande was making people hear what he was talking about and buy his albums. ****, i listened to his music after this and found out his has good music.

And you are wrong. When the song first came out on radio it was called "Vato" song.

Then when people starting complaining that snoop was dissing snoop went back to studio removed phillirel and the original chorus(vato run) and added b-real and frost in his video and song. Now, today the original "vato" song from snoop doesn't get radio play, but the remix does.

snoop rolles with a lot of bodyguards he know people want to **** him up and im not just talking about some Mexican rappers, i've heard some people from his old gang dislike snoop for snitching, remember his court deal

True. That why Mexican are quite powerful now because of the numbers and Cartels. Imagine Jamaica was right next to Cali or a country the size of Nigeria they would hook up their boys in LA. Like the Mexicans are doing now. Demographics are changing Blacks are now moving more Inner West now.

I have realised New York gang are about being Individuals and getting rich than colour of you clothes and race, whole different atmosphere there.

These Mexicans need the numbers, small fellows with big egos.
        LOL!

The media used to love to glorify black gangs, black violance. Once they got tired of the same old story they eventually talked about what was happeing on the streets and how Mexicans really ruled the streets. Mexican been banging before the blacks, and every other state just wants to be like L.A gang capital and Mexican dominated.

Mexicans do rule now, no question about that. It helps when you outnumber your closest rivals 4 to 1 and your country of origin and main drug supplier is just a drive away.

hey you know what, hate to say it but.. Ferocit is actually right on this one:
single by Snoop Dogg from his album Tha Blue Carpet Treatment. The song features B-Real and was produced by The Neptunes. The word "Vato" is Chicano slang for "homie". The original single had Pharell singing the hook, but he was replaced by B-Real for the video form, who is of Mexican and Cuban ancestry. The music video for Vato premiered on BET on August 30, 2006[1]. Pharrell Williams said the rapper's newest music video 'Vato' will not only feature his gangsta side, but will also tackle the issue of racial conflict in Los Angeles between African-Americans and Hispanics and call for racial unity.[1] It is directed by Philipp G. Atwell and featured Chicano rapper Frost as well as Oscar-Nominee Edward James Olmos. An animated video also premiered on snoopdogg.com in September. The final version of "Vato" contains an intro with Snoop Dogg saying "Man don't you know that I'm loco?" and also some shoutouts from Julio G.

The song was performed live in the Life & Rhymes of with B-Real, and in solo on the day of the release in the MSN live session concert.

                  my apologies..

There would be no black people in Vegas if Latinos "hate" Blacks and wanted them out... We completely outnumber blacks here.. There is more to it then race.
