  • Comments Thread For: Korobov Returns on Oct. 20, Open To Jonathan Gonzalez

Undefeated middleweight contender Matt Korobov (17-0, 10KOs) will return on October 20th in Texas, according to manager Cameron Dunkin. Due to some visa related issues, Korobov has been inactive since last November. Dunkin wants to push the 29-year-old boxer to the top of his division. One fighter who Dunkin expressed interest in matching Korobov against is fellow unbeaten Jonathan Gonzalez (15-0-1, 13KOs), who last Saturday fought to a twelve round draw with former WBO 154-pound champion Sergei Dzinziruk.

Golovkin vs Korobov at some point down the line would be brutal

Both have that thudding sort of power which makes me wince to watch it

They should just tell him the fight's at JMW so he comes in near 160.

Pretty dissapointed in Korobov. But he signed with Duncan instead of becoming a star in Germany, so let him stew in his own decision... He wanted to be big American star and did nothing with it despite getting put on multiple HBO PPV's.

Gonzalez is a naural Welterweight. He even has rolls on his sides when he is at 154.

Respect to Korobov for trying for greatness instead of settling for protection.

Yeap, he is just a lazy fock, he has no bussines at this point fighting at MW or anything above.

He should be fighting at 147!!!
