    NEXT EXCUSE!
Yeah, that was the reason. The whole HBO fighter with 100k purse vs. PBC fighter who wanted 1mill (and now wants 4mill) had nothing to do with it.

    Keep your shooting your blanks.

ggg just made 5 mill to canelo's 3.5 and they did about the same ppv numbers. he's almost the a-side already so lets stop pretending he needs canelo. canelo needs ggg to win back the fans. they hate him. hes garbage.

If that the final numbers, Canelo need to run to GGG sooner than later or his PPV match will low more and more
        300k is bad?

It's a stupid career move right now with virtually no reward - move up 2 spots on P4P list and make the same $ he made vs. Lemieux. On top of all of that, if you think he's being avoided now, imagine how many fights he'll get if he actually does beat Kovalev or Ward?

Moving up to 175 is the final move in his career. He needs to take care of all MW business first, with Canelo or without.
He's 34. If you aren't getting the Father Time Wakeup Call, then at least your guy GGG should.

The point is - right or wrong - the A side holds all the cards. Canelo is a very exciting fighter and can do whatever he wants. He just fought a relative nobody and made a successful event out of it.

To make matters worse GGG and his team have done NOTHING to prove they want a real fight. Yes they called out a bunch of names, but they balked when Ward accepted and they demanded Floyd, Pac, and Canelo meet him at 160. GGG is a 34 year old B-side and in a few years he'll be sorry he passed up on huge paydays over a couple of pounds. If he and his team have so much confidence a couple of pounds should make no difference.
          Exactly

Neither ward or kovalev is a draw. Hell saunders, eubank jr, and even jacobs are bigger fights than kovalev/ward. Kovalev is one of my favorites but he's always fighting in the opponents home because hes not a draw. Ward only sells in oakland, try having him fight anywhere else and he will do rigo like numbers. Neither has been in a ppv.

Dont get me wrong, im excited for kovalev/ward. Any time an arrogant, self entitled, money hungry, ducking diva is going to get some humility knocked into him i wii watch. But the ppv will bomb, crawford/postol bad.

Theres no excuse or conspiracy, those guys are not draws. If golovkin beat either of them it would mean ggg/canelo never happening. Canelo fears him now, imagine if ggg beats kov/ward. He wont fight ggg now at 160. What makes you think he will get in the ring with him if ggg beat the p4p #1 at 175?

How many times you gonna use that failed argument? Again dummy, Lara wants 20x+ what Monroe accepted, the entire main event budget couldn't cover Lara's purse demands.

                Ramirez in texas
                Degale in the uk
                Ward in LA
                Stevenson in Montreal
                Kovalev in Russia

It's plenty of money fights for golovkin above 160

Ward vs golovkin is a ppv fight
Kovalev vs golovkin is a ppv fight

Jacobs vs golovkin isn't a ppv fight
Eubank vs golovkin isn't a ppv fight
Saunders vs golovkin isn't a ppv fight

Ward vs golovkin in LA is a monster event. Ward is from California and golovkin has showed he can draw big in LA with the monroe and rubio fights. GGG vs SOG would bring out the stars in hollywood. Ward vs golovkin at the forum is a recipe for success.

Kovalev vs golovkin in Russia is the biggest fight ever there. And we already know how the Russians bid big on fights over there. Huge money to be made over there for kovalev and golovkin.

Eubanks, saunders, and jacobs are regular HBO fights that don't take GGG no further up the p4p list or make him a bigger name
They are easier fights but not more meaningful.

GOLOVKIN TRAINER BELIEVES MONROE IS A BIGGER NAME THEN ERISLANDY LARA

If ward were anything close to a draw he would have been in a ppv by now. Golovkin was in one ppv and the numbers were bad.

Golovkin/Kovalev- Would be lucky to see 250,000. If either of them sold better in russia they would fight there. Similar to how bute, pascal, and the pimp did in canada.

Golovkin/jacobs probably does numbers similar to ggg/kovalev.

Golovkin vs saunders or eubank jr are ppv fights. Maybe not to us public but they will make money with the british. Those uk fellows support their boxers. Golovkin had his biggest payday with brook by a lot. His best bet if he cant get canelo are those two. Im speaking in terms of payment of course.
