its not free, its on showtime which is a premium channel that we have to pay for, somewhere between 10/15 a month for 12 months and it comes out to $120-$180 a year. My HBO costs more, 15/20 a month, you do the math

The problem is a lot of people in Puerto Rico already pay those fees for Showtime and on top have to PPV the fight! You do the math!

      • Ask anyone in PR when the fight was announce if they pay for the PPV they will go 50/50 on the issue. Eventually they will pay for it. Spread the damn news few days before the fight and this is the reaction. Some of the ricans here are acting like they wont do the same if they are living here. They will act the same. That is how we act. People are mad because this is another PPV they will have to buy in the same month as Pacquiao JMM. Yeah, we love boxing enough to support and pay for that fight. At the end of the day, tomorrow a lot of people are going to pay for the fight. Not everyone wants to go out specially with how eff up is the criminality in the metro area.

            • He was ask in a radio interview and he just basically said "Why are they complaining? Don't they have to pay when they want to go to a Lady Gaga concert?" Really Cotto?

That's a horrible answer but not surprising. Cotto has never cared much about what the fans in Puerto Rico think. Whatever, people will not forget.

                    • If Cotto fights Canelo in May I wonder if this is the first time the PR people side with a Mexican in a PR vs. Mexico boxing match...
