That's true but some triad gangs have crazy people in them. It could be something against another gang area for whatever reason.

Triads are the same as any organized gang in any other part of the world - motivated purely by money. This attack was at a train station, targeting random people. There's a lot of tension in the North-West part of China with Muslims. This could be connected.

I don't know much about Chinese culture but from the things that I have seen, it's different to mine. I wouldn't be surprised if it was done by unhappy workers even, just wanting to make a huge statement.

unhappy workers do not go out and massacre innocent people on the street. i'm sorry, but that is absolutely insane to suggest such a thing.
