i own the lace up ones and use them for sparring in 16 oz.you can see in my pic.there real soft and kinda big but i love them..definatley reccomend them.

oh and DO NOT get the elastic cuff ones because they are impossible to get on.

he's correct.

i purchased the elastic cuff 16oz training gloves, and it was impossible to get on the second glove without assistance.

so, i cut out the elastic strap, but kept the hook&loop strap.

it works fine, but next time i would get the lace-ups with an attached title hook&loop glove converter (the ringside version of the glove converter is a little smaller)

is it true that ringside gloves are all big and puffy? bigger than most gloves

well, not that much. but, the ringside Safety training and international training are kinda big. the international feels a little heavier, too

They're pretty much average bag gloves. I would go with Everlasts to be honest. I think with the Ringsides youre pretty much injury immune, but you sacrifice because they don't feel very crisp on the bags.
