  • Has a 12-6 overhand punch ever been thrown in the history of boxing?

    Is it even a real punch used?

    So like a normal overhand right but instead of comming down diagonally it comes down vertically or very near to vertical like 12-6 or 11-5 oclock.

    Kind of like the opposite of a uppercut/bolo punch (going down instead of up)

    I think its been done on the inside naturally but I dont think you would train for that awkward punch.

      I've seen that punch quite a few times. Tim Witherspoon had a right that fits your description.
