I think it does knowing when to walk away is so hard nut roy jones has beem here for 5 years after he should have retired. I think pacquio and mayweather will fight 3 more fights each as they will know when to give it up with great records both being better than roy jones jr

The 2nd round KO to Tarver is a part of his history. It happened. So did the subsequent third fight. Definitely hurts his standing but I think most are aware that at that point he was past his prime. His accomplishments, however, speak for themselves and it will be a long time before we see an athlete like that in the ring again.
