Do you agree with Floyd's statement that you have to have performed well inside the squared circle to be able to teach it well.

Can you name any trainer/coach/manager who weren't good in their hayday (or maybe didn't even fight/play the sport) but turned out to be good leaders of men?

Angelo Dundee didn't box a day in his life.

Whats a "good" boxer? a top 100 ATG?

Guys like Roger, Roach and Floyd sr. were all "good" boxer, not great, but became great trainers

There are a ton of good boxers out there, but not great ones

some people know what to do and how to get there but they werent bless with the ability.
that's when you teach your knowledge to someone that can actually execute what u couldnt.

          Nope.

It might help you but it isn't necesarilly corelated to being a good boxer.

it helps..but nah smarts is the key...some arent very physicly tallented..and or mayb injuries or life got in way of good boxing career....so one dont have to be a gr8 boxer to coach it well...def dont hurt..but not a necessity

Great Trainers? For only training one great guy? Wait till they're gone (Pac/May) and they ain't gonna do jack shit.

Nacho is a much better trainer than them and I don't think he boxed.
