When Mosley loses to Floyd, will the 15 month layoff be a good excuse?

This will only be Floyd's 2nd fight in 3 years, u cant blame Floyd for Shane not fighting since Margarito.

all im saying is that if *******s are gonna discredit floyd's fight with mosley
lets take a step back and look at manny's fight with de la hoya

De La Hoya was definitely old and shot by the time pacquiao got to him,.... where was oscar ranked before he fought pac? i sure dont remember him being in the top 10 welterweights at all...
he was coming off a loss to floyd and a win over steve forbes... wait who?!?

where as, mosley is THE number 1 welterweight and is in the top 5 pound for pound on most people's list

coming off one of the biggest UPSETS and one of the biggest wins if not the biggest win of his career...

So what fight deserves more credit?
i'm not tryna discredit manny's win because it was a great win for what it was... im just thinking realistically and tryna be unbiased

agreed, though it would have been a better fight at 135, or even at 140 although Shane skipped that division completely.
