Heavyweight veteran Andrew Golota is working on his speed and timing by sparring with WBU cruiserweight champion Mateusz Masternak (29-0, 21KOs). Golota (41-8-1, 33 KOs) has a scheduled return to the ring on February 23rd at Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland. Golota will face his countryman and former European champion Przemyslaw Saleta (43-7, 21 KOs), who also competed as a kickboxer, MMA and K-1 fighter. It’s going to be a farewell fight for the two 45-year old Polish veterans.
