My next door neighbors son can throw a baseball 94 mph. Is this normal? He's 17

they're going to get drafted, but they aren't guaranteed to make it to the big leagues by any stretch simply because they can throw 95 mph.


there are an ungodly amount of rounds in the draft in pro baseball, and most of the guys that get drafted will never sniff a big league roster.

Well of course it doesn't. But if you can throw 95mph and you aren't in the bigs, the issue is almost always command. It doesn't matter how hard you can throw if you can't throw a strike.
