Pacquiao's losses came when he was a young, inexperienced, skinny, green fighter.

Cotto's loss came at a much later stage of his career. Adding to that, it was a brutal loss in which Cotto took heavy punishment.
yeah your right the comparison is not great but i was just trying to emphasise my point on how losing a fight doesnt mean the end of a career like some ppl think

how many boxers have said that and end up getting their asses beat, that fight.

while cotto looked ripped, he was drained. cotto isnt the type of guy that looks ripped when hes in shape.

Hatton, cotto and MAB 1 was past prime. from the wars

no they wernt past it by the time he fought hatton and cotto pacquiao had been in more wars then both of them anyways being in a war or losing a fight doesnt make u past prime

cotto wasnt drained either he still had legs and had been competitive early he just got out fought

            • The Difference with Cotto is he was mentally broken after that Margarito fight. Once you're gone mentally you age really quick in the ring, which is why he struggled with Clottey and why Roach said they would "remind him of Margarito". With Mosley when he lost to Forrest 2wice he had already lost to him 2wice before in the ameteaurs. sometimes a guy just has your number. Shane is a competitor and didnt get knocked out just out boxed.

I'm not too sure mate, but I'd probably say since he was a Super Bantamweight?

                Depends how define prime.

What are the reasons you believe MAB wasn't a shot fighter in the second fight?
Go watch the damage that was dished out in the morales wars.
