  • Should and will Hector Camacho get inducted into the IBHOF this decade?

I say yes he should, idk know if he will.

There are plenty of fighters who accomplised less than he has and those who mau have even accomplished more who arent

IMO its become more of a popularity contest or who was exciting or beloved

Most people loved to hate him but he was exciting, when he got older and settled down and modified his style, which became negative, people really forgot how great a fighter he was in the 80's

    Record: 79-6-3 (45 kos)

Titles won: WBC 130, WBC 135, and WBO 140(twice)

Champions/titlists defeated: Greg Haugen, Ray Mancini, Bazooka Limon, Cornelios Boza Edwards, Vinny Pazienza, Jose Luis Ramirez, Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Edwin Rosario

drew with Yori Boy Campas and Jorge Vaca former titlists

Only loss near his prime was to Julio Cesar Chavez who IMO, i would have picked him to defeat in the early-mid 80's

p4p he was one of the best in the 80's and should be alongside others

I believe his exclusion has more to do with people's disdain for his antics or style much like the deserved Naseem Hamed is excluded from now.

      Yeah he will be inducted

Too much personality, fame, drawing power, skills and accomplishments to not get in..

Yeah, if Gatti makes the cut then Macho definitely should get in. He was a top, world class talent during his prime.
